Earlham Christmas on Chestnut 2025 is CANCELED due to the incoming snowstorm.

The safety of our community, vendors, volunteers, and families is our top priority. With hazardous weather on the way, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.

But we will still keep the tradition alive! 🎄✨
Join us LIVE on Facebook Saturday (11/29) at 6 PM for our 2025 Tree Lighting. We’ll bring the magic to you from home—no snow boots required!

We’re disappointed too, but grateful for everyone who planned, prepared, and supported Christmas on Chestnut this year. Stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy a cozy night in with your loved ones. ❤️

❄ Weather Update for Earlham’s Christmas on Chestnut 2025 ❄

A winter storm may be heading our way this weekend! While a little snow can make this event feel so magical, it can also make travel difficult for our wonderful vendors. For their safety—and yours—we’ll be keeping a close eye on the forecast.

That being said, unfortunately, our horse and carriage rides have been cancelled for this year’s event.

We’ll continue to share updates as we get closer. Stay warm and safe, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎄

Join us for the magical Tree Lighting Ceremony on Chestnut Avenue at Earlham’s Christmas on Chestnut 2025 on Saturday, Nov. 29!

The big guy will be there to light the tree at 6 PM, and our local carolers will be spreading holiday cheer right before. What a perfect way to kick off the Christmas season in downtown Earlham! ❤️

🎄✨ TODAY IS THE DAY! ✨🎄

The festive magic of Chestnut Avenue is about to come alive, and everyone in town is buzzing with excitement for our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. It’s the heartwarming event that kicks off the Christmas season, and this year promises to be extra special.

Here’s the plan for the Countdown to Christmas on Chestnut:

4 PM - THE EVENT BEGINS: Vendors will be set up and local small businesses will be open along Chestnut Avenue. Make sure to stop by the Information Booth and grab a Kids Activity Punch Card. Each kiddo that gets all 10 stamps will get a prize at the end of the night. You might even spot Santa himself popping in to wave to the kids!

5:45 PM - CAROLERS: Gather around the tree! The Earlham Community Schools High School Choir will start a sing-a-long of classic Christmas songs, adding to the spirit of the season.

6 PM - THE BIG MOMENT - TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY: The countdown begins just before 6 PM, and the whole town and guests will join in as we light up the beautifully decorated tree, filling the air with twinkling lights and a sense of wonder.

Whether you’re there for the tree lighting, the shopping, the treats, or just the joy of being with your loved ones, Earlham’s Christmas on Chestnut 2024 promises to be a magical night full of holiday spirit.
