Progress.
Ryan Short, and Jessica Shank donating multiple hours in between their actual jobs, (which meant a little here and there) until our building was painted.
We appreciate their effort and the support of our community and our organization.
I would also like to thank Todd Mathews for loaning us the painting equipment, Janet and Kirk McCoy for the scaffold. Ray Short
and Kelly Brantley for assisting as well. James Michael for hauling off pallets, James Wesley Burke for bush hogging, and clearing out trees, Michael Poole, for always sharing the word. Lori’s store for posting advertising about our snow cone stand, Laney J for radio advertising, Josh and Kaylee Caudle for the shop lights, Kellan Brantley for all the little things he does for me, and so, so many more. (But it is late and I can’t remember anything else at the moment, 🤓)
When one is speaking on support of a community, it is always great to note that a community is everyone who contributes, in many different ways, towards a common goal.
Some do big things, others do small things, and even others just stop by, say hi, say a prayer and spread the word of the GOOD NEWS of what we are trying to accomplish.
And to each and everyone of those people, you people, whether we ever know you contributed or just said a kind word or prayer, or just shared a post for us, we are thankful.
Ultimately we are working toward a future that is better than our present, and we can only get there if we are all “rowing in the same direction.”
We are supposed to just be vessels of good things, helping others, and I think in this endeavor, we are doing just that.
So again, we have made a few more steps towards completion. Thank you.
P.S. I have to say…. “and my awesome team of staff, “. … they do so much more than is in their job descriptions and I am thankful for that as well.
