We just were informed that the irrigation sprinkler system vaults are filling up with water right now and we should have full pressure in our system by about 8:00 tonight. Don't forget to turn the valves on in the system at your properety.

We got word today from the manager of the home-owners association that there was an attempted break-in within the subdivision recently. She did not say what house it was, but she said that the burglar removed a screen from a window and got the window opened up. She also said that the window blind was damaged, but it does not appear that the burglar entered the house. Perhaps they got spooked off. The home-owner was not home at the time but discovered the open window when they got home. The police were called, and a report was filed. That is all the information that we got.

I thought that I would pass this on as a reminder to be careful. We hate to see it but occasionally crimes do take place in our great little subdivision.

One of our residents on Misty Cove had some of her out-going mail stolen from her mailbox last night. She put it out with the flag up at 7:30 pm and went back out later to check on it but it was gone.

As you probably noticed, the irrigation water was not working over the weekend. The pump repair guys were there this morning and discovered a bearing that had seized which stopped the pump from functioning. They got it replaced and the system is back up and running.
