🙏🏽 🪽 Condolences to the Men and Women of the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office (Colorado) on the loss of two of their deputies and one of the deputies family members. They were struck and killed by a wrong way driver, while riding their motorcycles in Idaho on Hwy 12 near Kooskia. A family member was also killed after all 3 motorcycles were struck. The driver was arrested and booked for Vehicular Manslaughter.

🔺 Press Release 🔺

“Larimer County, we’re heartbroken to share information about a sudden and tragic loss within our agency.

On June 16, an LCSO Deputy, Sergeant, and Sergeant’s family member were vacationing together on a motorcycle trip. The men were traveling on a North Idaho scenic highway when a pickup truck attempted to pass another vehicle in a marked no-passing zone. The truck crossed the double yellow centerline and collided with the motorcycles, killing all three riders.

The truck driver was arrested and booked into the Idaho County Jail on three counts of vehicular manslaughter. Idaho State Police are investigating this crash.

Out of respect for their families’ strong desire for privacy, we aren’t identifying the deputies at this time.

There are no good words in a situation like this. Put simply, these were incredible people who dedicated their lives to making Larimer County better every single day. They trained hard, they served well, and they loved life. As we walk the long and winding path of grief alongside their families, our resolve is stronger than ever:

For them, we’ll bring light into dark places.
For them, we’ll stand for good and fight against evil.
For them, we’ll live each day with gratitude and carry their legacy forward.

Rest easy, brothers. We’ve got it from here.

💙”

🚨 Drug Seizure by ISP 🚨
(Twin Falls)

🔺 Great Job by ISP!! Here is their press release:

“Idaho State Police seizes over 11 pounds of methamphetamine near the city of Twin Falls
June 16, 2026
TWIN FALLS COUNTY, Idaho – The Idaho State Police Domestic Highway Enforcement (DHE) team seized approximately 11.6 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 93 in Twin Falls County on June 11, 2026.

Just before 4:30 p.m., a DHE trooper stopped a northbound Ford F-150 on U.S. 93 for an equipment violation. The traffic stop took place south of the city of Twin Falls. During the stop, one of the vehicle’s occupants admitted to possessing contraband inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of approximately 11.6 pounds of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medication.

The three occupants were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. One was additionally charged with unlawful possession of a prescription drug.

The estimated street value of the methamphetamine is $90,000. “Our DHE team patrols throughout Idaho to identify and disrupt the trafficking of illegal drugs on our highways and in our communities,” Sgt. Curt Sproat said. “By proactively targeting criminal activity and working alongside our local law enforcement partners, we help stop the transportation of dangerous drugs and hold traffickers accountable.”

As part of Gov. Brad Little’s Esto Perpetua initiative, ISP’s Domestic Highway Enforcement team is a proactive multijurisdictional narcotics task force made up of 14 troopers, including seven canine handlers, stationed throughout Idaho to combat emerging criminal trends using advanced interdiction techniques, intelligence-driven enforcement, and partnerships with local prosecutors and allied agencies.

Supported through the Oregon-Idaho High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) program, the team works to identify, disrupt, and dismantle local, multistate, and international drug trafficking organizations through coordinated, multiagency enforcement efforts designed to keep Idaho communities safe. Additionally, the team works through an Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) sponsored counterdrug grant program that coordinates with and provides funding for multiagency drug enforcement initiatives, ensuring the effectiveness of operations.”

🚨 Vehicle Pursuit number 253 of the year occurred in Eagle today. (Exaggerating but it’s pretty ridiculous the amount of pursuits that go on. We need stronger sentencing, where prosecutors and judges start dropping the hammer on these fools). From the sounds of it, this dude sounds like he was lucky he didn’t get himself shot!

🔺Eagle PD Press Release 🔺

“On June 13, 2026, at about 12:51 p.m., an Eagle Police deputy was looking for a suspect involved in a report of a fight in progress from the area of Highway 44 and Highway 55 in Eagle when an unrelated silver Nissan Maxima drove past him in the center divider at a high rate of speed near Highway 44 and Edgewood. The deputy was traveling eastbound at the time. The Maxima was driving recklessly at excessive speeds, driving on the wrong side of the road, and passing other vehicles unsafely.

The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but it failed to yield, prompting a pursuit. The deputy quickly discontinued the pursuit when the Maxima went into oncoming lanes of travel on Highway 44 west of Eagle.

A short time later, an Ada County Sheriff's Office deputy located the vehicle near Highway 44 and Ballantyne, where it was still speeding excessively and weaving into oncoming traffic despite no longer being followed by law enforcement. A second pursuit was initiated. The Maxima went northbound on Highway 16, eastbound on Beacon Light, northbound on Linder, and then westbound on Homer, which is a dead end street.

The Maxima turned around at the dead end and drove straight at pursuing deputies. The Maxima then continued to the east end of Homer, which is also a dead end. As he attempted to turn around, deputies were able to pin the Maxima and took the driver into custody.

The driver was identified as 31-year-old Wayne Ricks. Ricks was arrested and medically cleared at a local hospital before being booked into the Ada County Jail for {F} Fleeing & Eluding, {F} Aggravated Assault, {M} Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, {M} Possession of Ma*****na and {M} Possession of Controlled Substance.”
