Someone posted incorrect information: Someone who lives in Star said that Farmers Union Ditch Irrigation Water mixes with Middleton Irrigation Water. The correct answer is: Not directly, no.

The FUD Canal tailwater flows into Lanktree Gulch Creek (which is only a “creek” due to our tailwater and some rain events/snowmelt events). The “creek” flows into (dead ends into) one of the Middleton Mill ditches (the Newman Lateral paralleling Foothill Road) on the George Quenzer property.
