This incredible community truly knows how to show up. Today, we hosted a fleece blanket cutting and tying event at The Community Market, and the turnout completely blew me away.
We originally opened 20 spots, but at one point, I counted 25 people packed around the table! Thanks to that amazing energy, we cut and tied all 60 blankets I brought. To say I am grateful for our volunteers is an understatement.
I also want to give a special shoutout to three extraordinary individuals who worked so hard to make this happen:
Katie N. for expertly squaring up our fleece blankets
Maria G. for seamlessly coordinating today’s event
Veyra for her continued, steadfast support of OHB

Thank you all for making such a warm, tangible difference!

Katie N., por recortar con tanta maestría nuestras mantas de felpa;
María G., por coordinar a la perfección el evento de hoy;

Join us as we partner with Eagle Valley Community Fndn to shine a light on food insecurity and show our support for those in our community who are facing hunger. Together, we can make a difference! 🧡✨

We’re working on quilts for this year’s Posada at the Community Market, so we thought it was only fitting to work on an orange quilt today! 🧡
