It's been a busy summer!
**I was honored to be nominated by a community member to be one of the CBS 58 Natalie Shepherd 's "Everyday Heroes." They filmed in Oak Grove Cemetery in May and aired it 2 weeks later.
**Projects completed are:
- Mead Family Grave site
- Headstone restoration and preservation of : Margaret Partridge. - Willie LaRue Snover, George Link, Phineas Townsend, Harry Verkins, Almira Draper, and replaced the footstone of Eugene Bovie.
**Something New:
For those headstones that are unreadable, I found a company who puts the information on a tile which I can then adhere to a stone or patio block. I've done 2. Evaluating it!
**Made my way through another attack of ground bees! I will prevail!
**Lastly, the Eagle Cemetery Preservation Association will be the nonprofit featured on Nesheks on Main and Sandwich Sisters Catering for their Giving Tuesday on August 5th. They donate 10% of their profit on that day. Please patronize this establishment that cares about our community!
