Casey Palmer is organizing a 70th Wedding anniversary celebration for his parent’s, George and Jackie Palmer. In addition to being one of the founding couples of Retrouvaille of Alaska in 1997, George and Jackie were also the Community Coordinators from 2006 until 2014. They presented Stage 1 in Alaska and all over the United States.
The celebration of their marriage will be held in the Gazebo at Kendall Park in Wasilla on May 23, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.

Casey states that he believes that after being alive, married and Catholic, being involved in Retrouvaille is his parents most prized accomplishment.

We received an email from Mike Mazzei this morning, and we wanted to be sure that everyone was aware of the passing of Charlotte Mazzei early this morning, 12/1/2024 after literally years of health struggles.

Mike & Charlotte served on the Int'l board about 20 years ago in the position of ED-US/CAN. Few can match the contributions that Mike & Charlotte have made to Retrouvaille before, during and after their term on the Int'l Board. Mike & Charlotte have consistently given their all to the program. Mike & Charlotte presented Stage 3 for Retrouvaille of Alaska many times for over 20 years.

Below is a copy of the email that Mike sent this morning.

"With me by her side, Charlotte gently passed from this life to the next in the very early hours of this morning. She has gone home to our heavenly Father. Her fight with one medical problem after another, with never ending tumors and infections is finally over. One week before her 76th birthday Charlotte is finally at peace with our son Garrett in heaven. We deeply appreciate your love and prayers. Now the hard part starts for me … living without the love of my life."
