Help us congratulate the student winners! Vilas County EDC and Northland Pines School District celebrated an incredible Entrepreneur Education Week last week. More than 70 business students took part across 7 business classes to develop 25 business plans. This was capped off by a high‑energy Shark Tank competition yesterday that showcased our students’ talent and enthusiasm: Dockside Food Truck Lot—Kami Neff, Liam Payne, Sawyer Trzebiatowski, and Hudson Warner—took home the top prize - a $1,000 scholarship from VCEDC; with Whispering Walkers Dog Walking, Tony’s Tortillas Taco Truck, and Rise Property Co. earning strong 2nd–4th place finishes. Our community should be proud—these young innovators are already proving that the future of entrepreneurship in Vilas County is bright!
