Our mission: Develop 40 miles of walking and biking trails connecting all five towns in eastern Vilas County. Help us keep building trails!

Great Headwaters Trails (GHT) is the easy short name of the Great Headwaters Trails Foundation, Inc.! Our foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in June of 2010. GHT is an all volunteer organization. We've put in over 4,000 hours a year to bring together resources of all s

orts to fulfill the mission of the organization: The mission of the Great Headwaters Trails Foundation, Inc. (GHT) is to develop and support a system of family-friendly community bicycling and walking trails connecting the towns and serving the residents of and visitors to eastern Vilas County.
