This morning Eagle River Lodge hosted a kids spinning rod class for local youth. Brought to us by Brother Bill Jacobs and Headwaters Chapter Muskies Inc.

All the kids got to keep the rods they built for themselves.

The members of Eagle River Lodge were honored to be a part of helping those who answer the call in the worst of cases. These men and women are true heroes who serve from the heart. Thank you to all of our first responders for all that you do. Especially the parts that nobody sees.

The members of Eagle River Lodge, working with the Wisconsin Masonic Charities and Rhinelander Lodge were honored to present Fire Suppression Tools to 6 local fire departments that are under staffed. This will help preserve the lives of those who volunteer to respond to the most dangerous situations in our communities.

PELICAN, Wis. (WAOW) -- Several area fire departments received essential firefighting tools as donation from a grateful community on Thursday.
