Today was a great day for a a lil’ freshen up♥️.

Although we've reached our initial fundraising goal for the Ted Daw RCC Diesel Tech Scholarship, we're far from done. Your continued support means the world to us, and we're grateful for every donation that has helped us get this far.

Did a little housekeeping 😊. Got all ready for Easter. I want to say how grateful I am that after 29 months, everything at this tree is original from when it was placed. I'm touched by the respect that's been shown concerning this memorial. I've gotten phone calls from passersby letting me know that the cross has fallen from a strong wind, and I'm still getting thumbs up 👍🏽, waves 👋🏼, and heartfelt smiles while I'm there (it makes my mom heart proud). “Happy Easter, Son. You will NEVER be forgotten and you are loved so much by so many” ♥️

We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you who helped bring this vision to life. And without a doubt, Ted is shining with pride from above! UPDATE❗️❗️❗️

The “ Ted Daw memorial Diesel Tech Scholarship” is now a Reality! We did it guys ❗️What we had 5 years to do , we knocked out in 8 months and raised $10,000.00 ! We dropped the money off today at RCC (Honestly,RCC is pretty impressed with us 😉)we should be getting a letter / email soon with the top 3 candidates, not that we get to pick but we do get to put our 2 cents in for consideration.
They were also impressed with the girls $88.00 worth of .50 lemonades 😉
Ted’s family, friends and community are definitely a force to be reckoned with when we all work together 👍🏽.

🥳WE DID IT!!🥳
Our 4th of July raffle was a total success! What a treat it was for us to be able draw 8 lucky winners in our raffle!

🫶🏼Thank you doesn’t begin to cover our appreciation to each and EVERYONE of you for your continued support through not only our dream of the “Ted Daw scholarship fund ” but our whole uncharted journey that began that day in August , that changed not only our lives forever ,but also so many others that knew Ted .
Even though our hearts are broken and the pain is sometimes unbearable, we have learned so much more about Ted through the stories you all have shared ( and we all know how much he would love being talked about 🤭). We absolutely LOVE hearing them, so please feel free to continue to share them here.🫶🏼

Back to our Scholarship Fund. It’s been a long road but as of July 4th ofter our raffle and with the previous donations, we raised over $9,000.00 of the $10,000.00 goal , we were $700.00 short . NO WORRIES EVERYONE. We aren’t ready to give up , but we all just needed a break and to enjoy the 4th with our family and friends. When July 5th rolled around, we were all SURPRISED with anonymous donation that will cover our shortage!!! SO WE did it ! And when we say “WE” that’s all of you out there too! Like we’ve said SO many times, “We” could NEVER have done this without ALL of YOU🫵🏼❗️
