This is the message from the parks team.

This Saturday, May 6th, our team will be in town promoting the survey, meeting with members of the community, and chatting with folks about the parks planning process. I have also included a flyer for our Park Talk at Main Street coffee.
Here is where we will be throughout the day:

Location: Main Street Coffee
Time: 10:30am – 11:30am

Location: Church on the Hill Saturday Market
Time: 10:30am – 2:00pm

Location: Lucas Park Time:
2:00pm – 3:30pm

Last summer I got to watch many of your kids enjoy Broken Leg Ministry and will continue. I work with youth in Shady Cove as well I know they would love to have a skate park close. There is a stigma that surrounds this type of group but, after getting to know them they are willing to respect and take ownership of a place like a skate park. My voice is for a skate park. However my dog Hope would love to have a dog park. Were still in discussions about this topic. Here is the parks survey.

I hope everyone had a great winter season. It seemed to run long but I think we're there. Time to pull the ramps out. This Saturday 12pm until it slows down. Food is still to be decided. Can't wait.

We are on free, food and fellowship and ramps. Is you've got a young person with nothing to do with a skateboard, scooter or bike, well really anything with wheels not motorized send them down.
