It’s been one year since we love our Mina. Things haven’t been the same without you. But in everything that we do we always keep your memory alive.

We miss you so much Mina.

When I started TMA Siva my goal was to teach the Samoan culture in Utah. What I didn’t know was that TMA would be a space for these girls to come together, to be there for each other and I never knew how much they would be teaching me.

I wanted to make sure that TMA Siva was a safe place where these girls can feel free to be themselves and to express themselves and I can only hope and pray that I did that, that I showed and told them how much I love them and how much they mean to me, they are all like my own daughters and I can’t imagine my life without them. Whether my girls have taken a break from dancing they still mean the world to me and I can only pray that they know that and that I played a role in their lives.

Until that sweet day. We love you Mina always. May you rest in love and peace.

Our nonprofit Samoan Dance Academy is proud to open our 2026 season!
As we continue to preserve and pass on Samoan culture through dance, we are actively seeking support from our community. Also with our expansion into West Valley, Utah.

We welcome all help:

Fa’afetai tele lava I le komiti o le Samoan Heritage Festival Alofa Fa'asamoa for the invite. Thank you to our amazing ausiva and their parents for all the preparations & helping to get our kids organized. Thank you to all our kids for all their hard work I know it was nerve wrecking but you guys did amazing. Thank you to our instructors Laiza Soliai & Pelu N Nimolina Sauvao for their hard work & dedication & teaching the kids. Thank you to our Malialole Family & Haviar Hafoka for having us perform alongside you guys it’s always amazing to dance along your beautiful dance group. Thank you to Anamua for their talent & coming to dress our beautiful taupou Mia Mataafa daughter of Harris & Miranda Mataafa. Excited for what is in store for our ausiva in the future.
