We had a wonderful program today thanks to The Grand Baby Project!
This nonprofit organization started here locally and is now recognized around the US. The program brings comfort and purpose to those living with dementia through the innovative use of doll therapy!

Tonja founded this amazing program in honor of her late grandmother who suffered from dementia. Just last year 6,000 dolls were delivered, and there were 3,200 caregivers trained in the program. These dolls provide benefits such as: reducing agitation and anxiety, improves mood, and promotes feelings of comfort and relaxation.

We had a wonderful program today put on by John Jones with Three Crosses Ministries👏🏻

Something NEW is coming to Eagle Lake!🎉

Three Crosses Ministries is bringing a program called Senior Connections to town!
This outreach program was started by John and his wife back in 2021 in Columbus, Tx. Their goal is to provide social engagement for senior citizens. This aids in mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of life. Activities will include cards, dominos, and of course snacks and refreshments. 🃏🎲
This program is completely FREE 💲 to participating seniors who’d wish to join! Transportation aid is also in the works for this program.🚌

There is no start date as of today but this will be the schedule once started:

2nd & 4th Fridays each month
10am - 1pm ; 11:30am - 12:00pm lunch ; 12pm - 1pm bingo
This will be held at Christs Church in Eagle Lake.💒
