🚒 Electric Vehicle Training Completed! ⚡️

Last night, we completed valuable Electric Vehicle Training with Vehicle Response Training (VRT). We were also joined by the St. Clair Fire Department and Madison Lake Fire Department for this important hands-on training.

This training was eye-opening and provided valuable knowledge to help us better understand the challenges and hazards associated with electric vehicles. ⚡️🚗

We’re committed to continuing our education and preparation so we can be ready to respond safely and effectively to the emergencies we face every day.

A big thank you to VRT, St. Clair, and Madison Lake for making this a great training opportunity! Along with the Eagle Lake American Legion for providing the space. 👨‍🚒🔥

We’re excited to share that our department has upgraded our radio fleet with 25 new handheld radios and 5 new truck radios. These additions strengthen our communication, safety, and efficiency on every call.This improvement was made possible through our successful capital improvement budget process and the continued support of charitable gambling. We’re grateful for the resources that help us serve our community at the highest level.

The Eagle Lake Fire Department would like to thank our entire community for the incredible support during Tator Days!

From cheering us on at the kickball game, to the amazing turnout at our breakfast, and seeing so many friendly faces along the parade route—thank you! Your support means so much to us, and we are grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.

And, of course, a huge thank you to all of our families for their help, support, and patience during this busy week. We couldn't do it without you!

We had a great training on 4/28/26 with SASCS on basement fire attack methods!
We also did training on pump ops and some of our newer members got to drive trucks 🚒

On International Firefighters’ Day, we recognize those who run toward danger when others run away—protecting lives, homes, and communities without hesitation.

On March 11, our team participated in an ice water rescue training to ensure our equipment is working as it should and to sharpen our skills in cold-water emergencies

We also had the opportunity to train alongside other local agencies 🚒🚓

Staying prepared means staying ready to serve our community in any conditions.
