Weekends can feel different for everyone.

For some, they're filled with family and friends. For others, they can feel quiet, lonely, or overwhelming.

That's why our Minnesota Virtual Peer Support Network is open every day.

Whether you're looking for conversation, encouragement, a place to learn, or simply a community that understands, you're always welcome. There is no pressure to share. You can participate as much or as little as you'd like.

If you're looking for connection this weekend, we'll be here.

Today, we honor Juneteenth--a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of a more just and equitable future.

At Wellness int he Woods, we believe healing grows in communities where every person is treated with dignity, every voice is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to belong.

Peer support begins with listening. It grows through compassion, understanding, and the belief that hope is stronger when we share it with one another.

As we reflect on the meaning of this day, we remain committed to creating spaces where people from every background are welcomed, respected, and supported.

Happy Juneteenth. β€οΈπŸ–€πŸ’š

Our 2026 Tom London Memorial Walk fundraising campaign comes to a close today.

Over the past few weeks, we've seen people come together in support of recovery, mental health, and the power of community. Every donation, every shared post, and every step taken at the walk helped make a difference.

To everyone who supported this event in any way: thank you.

Your generosity helps ensure that peer support remains accessible to the people who need it most.

If you've been meaning to contribute, today is your final opportunity to support this year's campaign.

There are a lot of messages in the world telling us who we should be.

Recovery invites something different.

It invites us to show up as ourselves, to keep growing, to stay connected, and to remember that our worth isn't determined by our struggles, our mistakes, or the challenges we've faced.

You don't have to become someone else to belong.

You belong here, exactly as you are today. πŸ’š

Two weeks ago, our community came together for the 2026 Tom London Memorial Walk.

Together, we walked, connected, remembered, laughed, and showed what is possible when people come together in support of mental health and recovery.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored, shared our posts, or cheered us on from afar--thank you. Your support helps make peer-led recovery services available to thousands of Minnesotans each year.

Our fundraising campaign remains open through Monday, so there's still time to help us reach a few more people with hope, connection, and support.

Weekends can be a time to recharge, connect, and focus on what matters most.

They can also feel long when you're struggling.

That's one reason VPSN is open every day. Whether you're looking for conversation, support, community, learning opportunities, or simply a place to spend time with others, there's a seat waiting for you.

You don't need to be in crisis. You don't need to have all the answers. You just need to show up.

Join us this weekend and connect with a community that understands. πŸ’š

We often talk about growth, healing, and moving forward.

Recovery isn't only about doing more.

Sometimes recovery looks like slowing down. Taking a break. Spending time in nature. Turning off the noise for a little while. Giving yourself permission to rest without feeling guilty about it.

Rest isn't something you have to earn.

It's a basic human need, and caring for yourself is an important part of caring for your mental health.

As you head into the weekend, we hope you find a moment to pause, breathe, and recharge. πŸ’š

Some nights feel heavier than others.

Maybe you've had a difficult day. Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, lonely, or simply need someone to listen.

That's why our Warmline exists.

When you call, you'll connect with a trained peer specialist--someone who understands that life can be challenging and who is ready to listen without judgment.

You don't have a crisis. You don't have to have the right words. You don't even have to know exactly what you need.

Sometimes it helps just to talk.

πŸ’š Our Warmline is available every night from 5pm-9am.

Minnesota is a big state, and support shouldn't depend on where you live.

That's why Recovery on the Road brings peer support, recovery resources, and community connections directly into communities across Minnesota. Whether someone lives in a large city, a small town, or somewhere in between, everyone deserves access to understanding, hope, and support.

We believe that recovery happens in communities--and every community deserves to be part of the conversation.

πŸ’š Because every connection matters, no matter where you call home.
