The VFW Department of Arizona website is where you can find all the information you need to book a room for the Department Convention.The special room rate is $130 +tax. They have waived the $25/day resort fee. You will need to travel on Wednesday, June 10th, since meetings start at 9 am on Thursday, 6/11, and head back home on Sunday, 6/1t &
This is a beautiful 5 star resort with remodeled hotel lounge, and pool side restaurant. However, the food and drink cost in the lounge and restaurant is a little spendy, but very good. The temperature will also be around 100+, so the pool is very inviting.

The VFW will have 4 Post & District sponsored hospitality rooms for food and beverages of all sorts. 3 are usually just open from 4 pm to 10 pm with food and drinks. The big room is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus a host of beverages. Everything is free, but please, just consider leaving a donation and/or tipping the bartender to help pay for the cost of the food, beverages, and the room itself (which is much more than the hotel rooms at $130).

Please consider going to the Department Convention. You need to book asap, and you can always cancel if you find you are not able to attend. Room deadline is May 6th. We can again vote to cover room costs based on double occupancy at the April meeting when we also do the Department Convention Delegates.

You will learn alot attending the Auxiliary meetings, and also have a chance to talk with a lot of other Auxiliary Members from around the state. The raffle baskets are also big and beautiful, so bring some $ so that you can buy tickets to try to win some.

It's brat day!! Beer brats with a side and dessert, $9 for one brat, $12 for two brats! Starting TODAY at 3pm until sold out!

We're still hungry after St Patrick's day, so we decided beer brats are a good idea! Come on down this Saturday, March 21st at 3pm, for beer brats with sauerkraut or potato salad, chips, dessert, and a non-alcoholic drink! One brat will be $9, $12 if you'd like 2!

Proceeds for this fundraiser will go to our Veteran grave marker project at the Eagar cemetery. There are many Veterans graves that have missing or broken markers. We use the markers to determine where to leave flags. This project will help with that! As a side note, the American Legion is fundraising to do the same thing for the Springerville cemetery, so keep an eye out for their fundraisers too!

We have a new raffle! This one is for a portable/camping Blackstone griddle, with utensils!! The drawing will be held on May 13th during the Auxiliary meeting. That way you can have your new griddle in time for Memorial Day weekend! Tickets are $5 each, or 5 for $20. Let us know if you'd like any tickets! Get them fast!
