Important Update: 2025 CFH Picnic Canceled
We regret to inform you that this year's Call for Humanity (CFH) Picnic has been canceled. While this event has traditionally been a joyful gathering, its primary purpose has always been to raise significant funds for our scholarship program. Our goal is to support at least 25 underprivileged students in Bangladesh with access to high school or college education. So far, we've been able to help six students—and the need is growing rapidly.
Although we are canceling this year's picnic, our fundraising efforts will continue. We invite you to support the CFH Scholarship Program by donating at www.CallforHumanity.org.
Why are we canceling the 2025 picnic? After much thought, we identified three key reasons:
Cost Surge – The rental cost for the same park location has increased tenfold. In addition, due to last year’s parking challenges, we would have needed to reserve the entire venue to accommodate over 500 attendees, which greatly inflates the budget.
Lack of Sponsorship – Unfortunately, we weren’t able to secure sponsors to help defray costs this year.
Fundraising Shortfall – Current donation levels are not sufficient to ensure that the event would generate the funds needed for our scholarship goals.
We’re already exploring alternative formats and locations for next year that are more cost-effective and inclusive, so we can keep the spirit of the picnic alive while staying mission-focused.
