Hello AOH Brothers,

I wanted to share two upcoming events. This coming Sunday, June 7th is Corpus Christi. Looking for at least four Brothers to carry the canopy in the procession following 10:30 Mass (around 11:30 am). All Brothers are invited to walk in the procession if there is interest beyond four volunteers. Please reply to me if you are able to volunteer to carry the canopy.

Our next general membership meeting will be Wednesday, June 24th @ 6:00 pm (5:30 pm social) at the KC Hall. It would be great to have as many in attendance as possible so if you are able to attend, please reach out to other AOH Brothers and spread the word. It just takes one Brother to ask another to attend.

Of the 56 people who signed the American Declaration of Independence, 3 of them were born in Ireland: James Smith and George Taylor (both representing Pennsylvania) and Matthew Thornton (representing New Hampshire) - all men coming from Ulster.

We will be having a membership meeting this Wednesday, May 20th @ 6:00 pm (5:30 pm social) at the KC Hall. We will be conducting a new member initiation during the meeting so please wear your green jackets. After a successful year of fundraising efforts, a check for $3,000 was presented to St. Francis Xavier Basilica Parish. The funds are to be distributed ($1,500 each) to St. Francis Parish for its new Marriage preparation program ~ Prepare/Enrich Assessment and Witness to Love Mentor Couple Program, and to St. Francis Xavier Elementary School for new desks to accommodate a recent increase in enrollment.

We would like to thank our sponsors Big River Resources , and Textile Brewing Company along with the many patrons of our fundraising events, for making these contributions possible.

The Beckman Gala ~ "Gaelic Gala" is this Saturday. If you would like to attend - let Greg Keegan know ASAP to reserve a seat with the AOH. We currently have two tables attending. Plan to wear your Green Jacket!

Carrie Pirc has informed the AOH that they would like to use IRISH Flags and IRISH Family Crest Flags for the decorations. They will decorate starting tomorrow at 5:30 pm. If you have a flag and would like to display your family crest proudly... please get the flag to the Beckman Catholic High School office no later than 3:00 pm tomorrow. Let's make sure we have the gym sporting the IRISH...
