The Dyersville Knights of Columbus Council #1734 presented a check for $3672 to the Rural Community Food Pantry. The Knights of Columbus Council 1734 had a breakfast on November 3, 2024, the proceeds from the breakfast ($1836) were matched by the K C Council 1734

The Dyersville Knights of Columbus Council #1734 presented checks to three Organizations from the Annual Tootsie Roll Campaign. Each Organization received a check for $1580. The Organizations are Dyersville Progress, Dyersville Special Olympics, and Western Dubuque Special Olympics.

Representing the Dyersville Special Olympics are in the back row are Zach Tegeler, Jim Gaul, and Aaron Hoeger. Coordinator Lois Olberding, Tab Skipper, Jayme Prier, and Ron Domeyer from the Knights of Columbus are in the front row.

Knights of Columbus Council 1734 of Dyersville awarded checks from their recent Persons with Intellectual Disabilities Drive (more well known as the Tootsie Roll Drive.)
The checks of $1,666.98 were awarded to Dyersville Progress, Western Dubuque High School Special Olympic Team and the Dyersville Progress Adult Special Olympic Team.
All of the money collected goes to fund projects to benefit persons with intellectual disabilities.
Ninety percent of the funds go directly to the local level while ten percent goes for statewide projects.
The Knights of Columbus Council 1734 thanks the surrounding community for their generosity in making this fund drive a success.
