Our program today was presented by Lee Ann Carrol. Lee Ann told us about her group called Never Alone Widow support group here in Dyer County. Thank you for sharing with us this valuable resource for those who have experienced the loss of a spouse.

Our program today was presented by Creative Abilities members Kristen Johnson and Wendy Smith. These ladies offered us a glimpse of what this unique program does to serve the special needs community in Northwest TN. From an after school day to respite nights, they offer caretakers of special needs kids and “young” kids (adults) an opportunity to get tasks performed while their kids are taken care of with fun activities and snacks. These ladies also shared their future goals of growing the programs and services offered. Thank you ladies for sharing your program with us and more importantly for serving such a special and amazing group of our community.

Creative Abilities needs our community help though! Volunteers, board members, legal advice for nonprofits, strategic planning, and/or even marketing/social media help.

Join our noon friends on June 5th for lunch!

🌭 One Community One Table 🌭

Join us for lunch, fellowship, and fun as Dyersburg Rotary presents One Community One Table on June 5th! We will be serving a fun lunch on the parking lot of McIver's Grant Public Library . EVERYONE WELCOME!!!!

This event is all about bringing our community together — neighbors, families, friends, coworkers, and new faces — to share a meal and enjoy time together around one big table.

We’ll be serving hot dogs, baked beans, chips, desserts. So come hungry, bring a friend, and don’t forget to pass the mustard! 🌭😊

Cmmunity happens best when we gather together.

Our program today was presented by Chris Smith, Chief Growth Strategist with Alliance Housing. Chris shared his path through life to where he is today and what all he is involved in. His story is one of resilience and perseverance through some tough times. He truly exemplifies that all you need is a second chance to make a difference if your heart desires it! Chris also serves as an advisor to the Governor for faith based community initiatives!

Thank you Chris for sharing with us this morning and for all the work you are doing to help those get a second chance!
