Damascus Project Damascus Inc. is an organization committed to helping men suffering from substance abuse to build a new life.

is a faith-based organization located in Dyersburg, TN committed to helping men struggling with substance abuse or unmanageable life circumstances to build a new life and be able to sustain it. Damascus takes men from jail and from the street and provides a nine to twelve month residential program of restoration. What we know intuitively, has been borne out in numerous studies, that faith based programs are delivering the greatest results, and often times the only results. Damascus focuses on rebuilding lives from the ground up with life skills indoctrination, heavy emphasis on job training, work ethics, and employment. Damascus teaches family values focusing on the responsibilities of being a husband and father. The goal is to see men seek to be productive citizens and leave behind the destructive behaviors that bind them. Development of a pro-social attitude requires a holistic approach to each life entrusted to us.
