Show some love for the Duvall Tavern!!! They generously offered to be one of our sponsors for our charity golf tournament and we couldn’t be more proud!

One of our board members April Ritchey worked there for years and that’s how many of you know her or recognize her. So it means a lot that they can be part of this event.

Haven’t been there before? Why the heck not??!!

Shoutout to the Duvall Tavern for sponsoring Par 4 the Pool! If you haven’t been there before, check it out! We highly recommend the fried pickles with Tavern Ranch🤤

The Duvall Tavern has an extremely long history in this valley, including changing hands 3 times in one day! Established in 1934 it is one of the oldest operating businesses in town.

Summer is upon us and we recommend you check out their summer music lineup on the patio and their delicious beer selection is local and with a great variety on tap.

We need volunteers to help us man our booth for Duvall Days! We are still growing in numbers and trying to make sure some of us make it into the parade! Main activities will be talking to community members about the project (materials provided!) and engaging with the kids via art projects and bubble activities!

Shifts are broken up into a couple hours each, and everything will be provided. Costumes highly encouraged 😜 Sign up via the link in comments 👇

Memorial Day is very special for us here at SFCC. With one of our board members being a veteran, and more than one of our volunteers have lost someone in service to our country. Thank you to all who recognize the fallen this day.

We are happy to announce we had 20 donors at our blood drive on Monday the 18th! 2 were first time donors. Thank you for helping us make an impact. Now, we are planning the next one! Did you know you can donate whole blood every 58 days? That’s about 8 weeks.

This means you can donate up to 6 times a year!

Here’s the thing, to have one on the weekends takes money to rent a facility. RSD is so kind letting us use their facilities during the week, but weekends require paid staffing and costs for utilities. We want everyone who has the desire to donate to be able to do so, and work around their work schedule.

If you would like to donate to help us bring a weekend blood drive to Duvall see link in bio.

Thank you and see you all at Duvall Days on June 6th!

Join our school as we swim through the parade! Ok that was cheesy but I’m doing my best here 🤣 Whitney Cherveny is putting together a group to be in the Duvall Days Festival Parade. We will be giving you things to hand out and bubbles 🫧have been seriously discussed…

Most people are dressing up in blow up costumes as fish, or other aquatic creatures, mermaids, lifeguards, the possibilities are endless!

Or just walk with us and blow some bubbles!

Whitney Cherveny is the School Principal so RSVP to her please 🙏

*We need to have our head count ready to give to the parade people in a couple days!

The research is clear. Swimming is one of the best things older adults can do to stay strong, balanced, and independent. A study from the University of Western Sydney found that seniors who swim regularly are 33% less likely to experience a fall compared to those who do other forms of exercise, including walking, running, and golf.

Our neighbors in Duvall, Carnation, and the surrounding valley deserve access to that. A public aquatic center isn’t a luxury. It’s a health resource.
