While most of us look forward to summer, for some families the season can be a financial struggle. To help those neighbors, during the months of July and August, we will be providing an extra bag of groceries, with breakfast and lunch items, for each school aged child in our registered families.

THANK YOU to our friends at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Verona for the donation of rolls, and to our friends at Durhamville Baptist Church for the donation of all kinds of groceries, along with birthday kits for children!

STONE SOUP, a community dinner, will be held THURSDAY, June 25th, from 4:30-6:00pm at the Verona Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of Rock Road and Main Street. MAKE-YOUR-OWN HOAGIES are on the menu, served up by the parishioners of Our Lady of Good Counsel.

The meal is FREE, but donations to the Town of Verona Food Pantry are gratefully accepted.
