Unfortunately, the field is too wet to play now and it should rain for another hour, so we must cancel games today. Saturday night rains are tough to get through for Sunday softball, no matter how dry the field had been before. Good for Durham and getting rid of pollen, but bad for softball. These games will be moved to the end of the season and replace the existing Week 10 games.

Announcing our latest fundraiser! Inspired by paid "power up" packages common at local charity golf tournaments, we're excited to offer our own softball bonuses each week!

Before each at-bat, players will have the option to buy as many free bases as they'd like, with each base available for $25 per bag. An automatic home run is only $100, but this is softball, so of course there is a "catch!" The defense may ALSO donate to take away the offense's paid bases, so the normal mental chess match between a batter and the pitcher now includes a budget. Teams will continue bidding to add or remove bases until one team reaches their limit, with a maximum bid of $1,000 per bag, per at-bat.

Cash, PayPal, and Venmo payments are preferred, but a team of attorneys will be on-site to help players with mortgage and title transfers, as needed to help with disputes and batting averages. Standard at-bats will still be available to all players, with a small $7.99 per at bat convenience fee added to all players who do not currently have a Softball+ subscription.
