📣 Calling all current and retired NC state employees!

You can make a difference for neighbors experiencing homelessness or working hard to stay stably housed through one of our Supportive Housing programs.

The State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC) is a great way to help! By choosing Housing for New Hope (Code: 3884), your payroll deduction, one-time gift, or monthly contribution helps create lasting housing stability.

Not a state employee? You can still help by sharing our code with friends, family, and neighbors who are eligible to participate!

Meet another HNH participant, Tierra. 💙

Tierra came to Housing for New Hope during a season of financial hardship, job loss, and family stress. Through supportive housing, she found the stability and support she needed to take the next steps toward independent living.

Along the way, HNH supported Tierra in areas including housing, mental health and emotional wellness, employment and job readiness, and relationships and community.
Today, Tierra is employed and has improved her living circumstances. We’re grateful to have been part of her journey and to see her take steps toward the independent life she envisioned for herself.

Take a glance at our programming and mission! 🏠 At Housing for New Hope, we offer several housing pathways to help our neighbors find stability.

Community-based Supportive Housing: Participants live in privately owned rental units with local landlords and receive individualized support from HNH.
Campus-based Supportive Housing: Participants live in HNH apartments and receive individualized, on-site support.
Affordable Housing: Rentals are available to individuals and families at or below 50% of the Area Median Income.

Through each of these programs, we work toward our mission of preventing and ending homelessness, one valuable person at a time.

A big thank you to the Bank of America team at their Raleigh office for making 160 birthday cards for our participants! 🎉

These thoughtful cards are a simple but meaningful way to remind our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and celebrated. We’re grateful for your partnership and the care you’re putting into our community!

Thank you to the Ebony Pages Book Club for putting together 10 kitchen kits for our neighbors at Housing for New Hope! 🏠

We’re so grateful for your generosity and for the care you put into making these kits. With these kitchen supplies, our participants can make nutritious and tasty meals everyday. Thank you for showing up for our community!

Meet Paige. 💙

After living in his truck, Paige connected with Housing for New Hope and found more than a place to live—he found a safe, stable home and the support he needed to move toward independence.

HNH equipped Paige with the housing, mental health support, and life skills development he needed to build stability and work toward independence. Today, he remains stably housed.

Paige’s story reminds us that supportive housing isn’t just about providing a home—it’s about equipping people with the tools and support to thrive.
