Durham County Community Living Programs enjoyed the NC Stare Fair this week!

Durham County Community Living Programs was invited to participate in the More Than a Helping Hand Project through UNC school of Government.

We were one of 10 local nonprofits invited to tell about our volunteer opportunities at DCCLP. The project focuses on senior citizens volunteering in their community to combat loneliness.

Jennifer Helton our Executive Director and Karyn Stoeckl Director of Admissions and Social Work attend this event today at the Durham County Center for Community Living.

On Thursdays at DCCLP we wear pink to celebrate our survivors and support awareness.

Last night Civitans meeting was a special awards ceremony honoring service to others. Each recipient has been a faithful member and has participated in multiple projects for the Durham community and beyond. Congratulations everyone on your achievement. This was such a delightful program!
