"Maine is increasingly becoming a biking destination, with trail builders investing in several new trail systems designed specifically for biking. Whether you enjoy road cycling, gravel riding, or mountain biking, the Pine Tree State has plenty of options.

For road cycling, check out the East Coast Greenway, a 3,000-mile route that’s developing from the southern tip of Florida to the Canadian border in eastern Maine."

The East Coast Greenway Alliance team is feeling inspired after a memorable day supporting the fifth-annual Major Taylor International Cycling Convention, in Durham, North Carolina, last week! It was great to make new friends and reconnect with longtime partners from up and down the East Coast.

Thank you to Major Taylor Cycling Club North Carolina - MTCCNC and Major Taylor International Cycling Alliance Group for organizing such an amazing event!

From Miami to Provincetown, sisters Denise and Barb St. Pierre just completed an incredible 2,300-mile journey along the East Coast Greenway route, riding from April 10 to May 29 and raising more than $30,000 for the East Coast Greenway and Third Act. 🚲💚

Their Cycle Hope ride was about more than the miles — it was about community, connection and building a more sustainable future.

Congratulations, Denise and Barb, and thank you for inspiring us all along the way!
