"The Garmin Half Marathon in Durham was such a fun experience. The cooler temps and overcast skies made it the perfect day for a race. I also haven’t spent much time in Durham, so the course was a great way to explore more of the city. We ran through the Durham Bulls baseball field and finished inside Wallace Wade Stadium at Duke. It felt especially meaningful to run the race in my SoleMate t-shirt, and hear spectators along the course cheering, 'Go SoleMate!'" - Caroline, GOTR Triangle SoleMate πŸ—¨οΈ

Way to go, Caroline! Learn more about being a SoleMate at GOTRTriangle.org/SoleMates πŸ’™

Win the Sarah Stevens Sports series by Durham author, Stuart Sanders! βš½πŸ“š

Stuart is a lawyer by profession, but his true passions include playing soccer, coaching, and writing. He has coached his three children and hundreds of other young athletes throughout their sports journeys. Now, he brings those experiences to Sarah Stevens Sports Series.

The three books in the series - Becoming Soccer Girl, Becoming Ping Pong Girl, and Becoming Softball Girl, are full of fun, excitement, and meaningful insights into sports and life. It is the perfect summer read for GOTR girls!

We’re giving away 3 copies of the series at the end of the summer. To enter, join our Summer Reading Challenge! πŸ“– All participants will be automatically entered to win. Winners will be selected at random once the challenge wraps up at the end of the summer!
