Today, we commemorate Juneteenth — a day to honor freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice for Black communities across the country. It’s a time to reflect, celebrate the impact of Black Americans, and recognize the strength that comes from unity.

At Girls on the Run, we believe every girl deserves the opportunity and support to reach her full potential. We’re dedicated to building spaces where joy, connection, and community can grow for girls from all backgrounds. "The Garmin Half Marathon in Durham was such a fun experience. The cooler temps and overcast skies made it the perfect day for a race. I also haven’t spent much time in Durham, so the course was a great way to explore more of the city. We ran through the Durham Bulls baseball field and finished inside Wallace Wade Stadium at Duke. It felt especially meaningful to run the race in my SoleMate t-shirt, and hear spectators along the course cheering, 'Go SoleMate!'" - Caroline, GOTR Triangle SoleMate 🗨️
