We’re so excited to introduce our new summer intern, Justin! Justin earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Engineering Management at Duke University. He has a strong passion for STEM education and has been involved in FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) since high school, where he helped lead his team to three national championships. He brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to The Makery, and we’re thrilled to have him with us this summer!

The Makery is so excited to take part in the Durham Rotary Club Flag Day Ceremony on Saturday, June 13th from 9:00–9:45 AM at Hub RTP. Families can enjoy a hands-on craft activity alongside a meaningful community event featuring music, a color guard ceremony, and a field of 500 flags honoring local heroes. • Roll a small amount of clay into a ball
• Add soil followed by a pinch of seeds
