Safe Travels

Please be respectful as we take our fallen brother to his hometown.

The shirt may eventually fade, but the meaning behind it never will. Every purchase is a small way of saying, “We see your sacrifice. We stand with your family. And we will not let your memory fade into silence.” ❤️‍🩹🚒

💚Our Durham Fire Department brother, Andrew Brokes tragically lost his life in a building collapse at a fire yesterday.💚
In the past, Andrew would always donate to TYF when we helped other firefighters. Now it’s our turn to help Andrew’s family. If you have $33 and want to repay the favor, here’s your chance.
Our good friend Zackery Newton drew this art last night and we're gonna sell shirts, shields (thank you, Taylor's Tins), and stickers. And like always, EVERY GOSH DARNED PENNY we raise will be donated. 💚💚

As the sun set today, it wasn’t lost on us that somewhere, a family is preparing to lay their heads down tonight with broken hearts, heavy souls, and an emptiness that words could never begin to explain.

But they aren’t the only ones carrying that weight. There are men and women who stood beside him, who shared the calls, the long shifts, the laughter, and the bond that only those who serve together can truly understand. Tonight, they, too, carry the unimaginable weight of losing a brother in arms. A piece of their family is missing, and the world they return to will never quite feel the same.

Tonight, hearts are shattered, shoulders are heavy, and lives have been forever changed. May we never forget the power of showing up for one another. None of us are meant to carry it all alone. ❤️

We are praying for the Brokes Family and all of the men and women who served alongside him.
