🌈Chapel Hill Pride Promenade | Saturday, June 6 from 12-3 p.m. (downtown Chapel Hill) Walk with Pride!
This promenade starts at 12 p.m. at Peace & Justice Plaza, 179 E. Franklin St. After hearing a few featured speakers, the community will walk together to a celebration from 1-3 p.m. at 140 West Plaza, 140 W. Franklin St.

🌈Carrboro's Pride Piper Walk | Friday, June 26 at 4:30 p.m. (El Centro Hispano, 201 W Weaver St, Carrboro, NC 27510 )
Join local officials to help roll Rainbow Ram down Weaver Street from El Centro Hispano to Town Commons for the Carrboro Pride Dance Party / Fiesta del Orgullo de Carrboro.

🌈Carrboro Pride Dance Party / Fiesta del Orgullo de Carrboro | Friday, June 26 from 5-9 p.m. (Carrboro Town Commons, 301 W. Main St., Carrboro, NC 27510)
Join community for food, dance and frolicking on the lawn. Food trucks, dancing and tables with resources, support and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. There will be local food trucks, drag shows, music, and crafts for the kids. This is a space to celebrate and share the diverse cultures, identities, and experiences of the local Latinx LGBTQ community. Organizers from El Centro Hispano are collaborating with the Town of Carrboro to bring an event that fosters unity, inclusivity, and empowerment by showcasing our community’s talents while providing social, healthcare, and advocacy resources, and family fun.

Chapel Hill-Carrboro Small Town Pride aims to promote the equality of the LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as increase visibility, support inclusive legislation, and bring awareness to other LGBTQ issues. Progress for true equality requires the support of everyone, including straight allies who know that support for LGBTQ+ people strengthens the entire community.

Esta noche el equipo de LGBTQ+ rindió tributo a las víctimas de la masacre en el club Q de Colorado Springs.

Durante la vigilia se condenó la retórica de odio y discriminación contra la comunidad LGBTQ+ y se abogó para aprobar leyes sensatas para el control de armas de fuego y programas de salud mental.

Tonight the LGBTQ+ team paid tribute to the victims of the massacre at the Q club in Colorado Springs.

The vigil condemned hateful rhetoric and discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community and advocated for sensible gun control laws and mental health programs.

El Centro Hispano, Inc. Este 17 de diciembre te invitamos a una vigilia por las víctimas de la matanza en el club nocturno "Q" en Colorado Springs.

El propósito es concientizar a nuestra comunidad y líderes de la necesidad de levantar la voz y rechazar la discriminación, acoso, intimidación, abuso y menosprecio que vive nuestra comunidad.

En el evento tendremos oradores y micrófono abierto.
