We’re proud to announce Dr. Aden Mendoza as the newest recipient of the Neil Peart Neurosurgery Research Award!

As a Neurosurgery resident at Duke University, Dr. Mendoza's research focuses on studying molecular responses to glioblastoma treatment, a key area of research that the Glioblastoma Foundation focuses on.

The Neil Peart Neurosurgery Research Award was started exclusively by the Glioblastoma Foundation in 2020 in honor of legendary Rush drummer, Neil Peart.

At the Glioblastoma Foundation, we’re working to ensure that every patient has access to genomic testing designed just for Glioblastoma.

Genomic testing can help improve diagnostic accuracy, identify treatment options, and match patients with clinical trials based on the molecular features of their tumor.

In the weeks to come we’ll be accepting our first patient samples and look forward to offering patients and families these powerful insights that can bring greater clarity, expand the possibilities for care, and offer hope for the path ahead.
