Beardsley.
Jeremy "Bean" Clemons is a renowned drummer celebrated for his intricate rhythms and dynamic stage presence. Clemons has collaborated with legends such as Gregory Porter, Andy Bey, and Burning Spear, showcasing his versatility and creativity across a wide range of musical settings. His distinctive drumming blends elements of soul, reggae, hip-hop, and jazz, establishing him as a standout force in the music world.
Tinashe Blu, a tenor saxophonist of exceptional skill, brings a deep emotional range to his playing. Known for his virtuosic command of the instrument, Thompson has spent years mastering his craft, performing in diverse settings, from traditional big bands to experimental jazz ensembles. His sound draws inspiration from jazz greats while exploring new tonal possibilities, pushing the expressive boundaries of the saxophone.
Kevin Beardsley, a highly regarded upright bassist, provides the rhythmic anchor of the trio, offering a melodic and harmonic foundation that enriches the ensemble's sound. Beardsley’s approach is deeply rooted in jazz traditions, yet he remains unafraid to take bold risks. His musicianship has led to collaborations with leading jazz figures, and his ability to weave intricate bass lines into complex improvisations adds a profound depth to the trio’s music.
This dynamic trio is defined by their collective creativity, blending their voices into a fluid, cohesive musical dialogue.
