We were delighted to host our inaugural State of the Union–style luncheon today. Thank you to all who joined us for this meaningful conversation.

Special thanks to our panelists, to Brooks Rainey for moderating, and to Representative Zack Hawkins and Self-Help for co-hosting. Together, we brought leaders from across Durham into conversation about housing stability, economic mobility, and what it takes for young adults transitioning out of foster care to build independent futures.

It truly takes a village, and we are grateful for a community committed to supporting young people as they move toward stability and opportunity.

Because of their partnership, more young people leaving foster care will have access to safe housing, stability, and the tools they need to thrive. We’re grateful to stand alongside partners who believe every young person deserves a strong start!

We had such a great time at last week’s Jingle Jam. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we sold out the event and surpassed our $50,000 fundraising goal!

It was a memorable evening filled with connection, celebration, and commitment to helping Durham’s youth shine bright. We are grateful to everyone who attended, supported, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make the night such a success.
