New Leadership – Welcome Hailey!
We're excited to welcome Hailey into her new role as Assistant Director of Coaching for Minis of The People's Game!
Hailey has been an important part of our team, and we're excited to see her continue to grow as a leader within the organization. In her new role, she'll help support our programs, coaches, players, and families as we continue to grow.
We're grateful for everything Hailey has already contributed to The People's Game and look forward to all that's ahead!

Duke Match – Anthem Buddies
We recently had the opportunity to bring some of our TPG players to a Duke soccer match as Anthem Buddies and play during half time!
It was a special experience for our players to be part of the game-day atmosphere, represent The People's Game, and experience soccer from a completely different perspective.
We're grateful for opportunities like this that allow our players to build memories, connect with the soccer community, and see the many ways they can be involved in the game.

Year-Round School Showcase
Our year-round school players recently had the opportunity to participate in a special showcase!
It was a great chance for players to show off what they've been working on, celebrate their development, and enjoy some time on the field with their families and teammates.
Thank you to all of the families who came out to support our players. We're proud of the effort and growth we've seen so far this school year!
Traditional School Showcase Coming Up:
Our traditional school showcase is October 22! We're excited to bring our traditional calendar players and families together to celebrate their hard work and progress.
More information will be shared with families as we get closer. We can't wait to see everyone out on the field!

Minis Program – Growing Strong
Our Minis program continues to grow, and we're excited about the number of young players joining The People's Game!
Our youngest players are building confidence, coordination, balance, and a love for the game through fun, age-appropriate activities designed to keep them moving and engaged.
We're still looking for more Minis players to join us! Our Waypoint Academy locations is now open to the public. The 2-3 year old players are 12:10-12:40 and 4-5 year old players are 12:45-1:30. If you know a family with a young player who loves to run, play, and have fun, send them our way.
Free trial sessions are available, making it easy for new families to come experience The People's Game.
We're continuing our 50% off referral discount. Invite a new-to-TPG family to register for the same session, list each other's names during registration, and both families receive 50% off.

Small Group Training – Join Us!
Our Small Group Training program is continuing to grow as well, and we're looking for more players to join us!
Small Groups provide players with an opportunity to get additional touches on the ball while receiving more individualized coaching in a small group setting. Players continue working on technical skills, ball mastery, first touch, decision making, and confidence.
If your player is looking for additional training outside of their regular soccer schedule, Small Groups are a great opportunity to keep developing and having fun.
Free trial sessions are available.

Track-Out Camps
Our recent Track-Out Camps have been going great! We enjoyed having players join us during their school breaks for days filled with soccer, games, activities, and fun.
Thank you to all of the families who joined us! We love being able to provide players with a place to stay active, make new friends, and continue developing while they're out of school.
We have one more Track-Out Camp coming up, so be sure to keep an eye out for registration information and reserve your player's spot!
We also had two Teacher Work Day Camps in which we hosted over 40 participants for them both while one was SOLD OUT! Please start planning ahead as we continue to grow.

Coaches Corner
We're excited about the continued growth of our coaching team as we move through the 2026–27 school year.
Our coaches do much more than teach soccer. They help create an environment built around our core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Trust, while helping players grow both on and off the field.
We are continuously working to improve our coaching team through Professional Development days. This month, we had our Most Valuable Coaches PD where coaches get to vote for each other to see which coaching team provided the best session. Congratulations to Coach Hailey, Ryan, and Miriam who won the MVC trophy for Hope Valley Elementary School!
We're always looking for passionate individuals who enjoy working with children, love soccer, and want to make a positive impact in our community. If you know someone who would be a great fit for The People's Game, please invite them to apply!
September birthdays were:
Zekeriya, Ben, Hailey and Brandon
We have no Coach birthdays in October.
