🤓 What are we up to? 🤓
The Durham Lions Club - META Smart Glasses Project

The Durham Lions Club provided
-$5,200 to purchase
-META Smart Glasses and training for
-10 visually impaired persons. -All recipients reported that the glasses have been very helpful in improving independence and quality of life, including reading, travel, work, school, and daily activities.

The project demonstrated that technology combined with individualized training can make a meaningful difference.

And the project identified at least 10 more potential recipients. The results strongly support continuing the program, with training treated as an essential part of every future glasses donation.

Durham Lions will expand this offering to more individuals in the coming year.

Because we are lions…
