Girls Rock NC: working to empower girls, women, trans folks, and non-binary folks since 2003! She needs to know what to do with the messages she hears.

Girls Rock NC uses music and performance as the mediums for self expression and esteem building. We accomplish this with programming that focuses on the “three Cs”: creativity, confidence and collaboration. It’s not enough to hand a young girl an I-pod loaded with feminist music. How does she engage her community with her new ideas and sense of self worth? How does she gain the confidence to make her voice heard? We believe that loud, unapologetic music is a great place to begin.

Artists, musicians, and friends of GRNC! We need you‼️ If you’ve got gear lying around or you upgraded recently, our campers will have a total blast with it at summer camp this July! WOW 😭

We are speechless after such an epic, sensational, beautiful Rock Roulette showcase!! ❤️‍🔥 This year, Rock Roulette made history as we raised the most we ever have before…. an astounding $31 K!!!! Y’all did that!! 👏⭐️🤯

Spice Coven () also shattered our record for most amount ever raised by an RR band at a whopping $5,500+ 🌶🌶🌶

Huge congratulations to all of our resilient, talented bands who decided to be brave and do something so hard! You should be so proud of yourselves & know that all of us at GRNC are! ✨🥺

MEET THE BAND: Kaleidoscope Collage ✨🔮🎨

KC is our first Greensboro/Burlington-based Rock Roulette band! And the only thing they love more than making music is supporting their local gender expansive youth!!! 🏳️‍⚧️⚧

Kaleidoscope Collage is bonded together by a shared love of tarot reading, animation, boxing, and Collage! They draw inspo from 80s synth rock, Mitski, Toro Y Moi, and Japanese Breakfast 🎶

Spice Coven is a group of open-hearted she’s and she/they’s coming together at just the right time 💗 Together they’re uncovering their experiences of loss, love, hope, and synchronicity through music, play, and a little witchcraft 😈 Their music is inspired by 60’s pop rock, devastating breakup songs, and anything else that feels right 🎶

Spice Coven recently raised their fundraising goal to $5,000 after smashing their original goal of $2,500!! 😱💥 Superstar status over here- they must have lit their candles & said their spells, or maybe that’s just the magic of MUSIC, baby!! 🔮
