🦋 So proud of two of my girls who recently graduated from middle school and high school, respectively. They are sweet and very smart. I miss them so much. Tiniyah and Da'Miah, Ms. Shanti is rooting for you and you all can do whatever you want to do in life. The sky is the limit. Keep spreading your wings B. E. girls! 🦋 Thanks to their mom and dad for allowing them to be in our group and raising three beautiful young ladies.

StandUp-SpeakOut of NC is switching things up for the summer while keeping our families safe. We are offering our Girl SpeakOut Virtual Summer Series "Camp Resilience" beginning June 15th for girls ages 13-17. GirlSpeakOut is all about Empowering Girls Through Art, while building confidence, self esteem, and promoting body positivity. We engaged youth in mindfulness, yoga, dance, and various forms of creativity, from spoken word to theatrical performances. The summer series occurs Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays and registration is open now. The summer series is free to register but we are welcoming suggested donations and sponsors. In addition, we have our GSO-Mentoring Summer Sessions which begin June 2nd-August 4th. These sessions are for girls ages 10-12 and will be held on Tuesdays 5pm-6pm. Registration is open now for both programs. You can register for the mentoring group by visiting our website under our events page.

At The Well Young Women's Leadership Academy has a summer program at Princeton University that celebrates 10 years of empowering minority youth to be global leaders.
