Unite for a grassroots lobby day on June 24 to tell our leaders in Raleigh its time to show some LEADERSHIP and pass policies to protect communities from AI data centers. On June 24 from 9 AM - 5 PM at the NC Legislature on 16 W Jones Street in Raleigh, Communities from across NC will push back against the impacts of data centers.
We need leadership from our state legislators on issues like high electric bills, water usage, non-disclosure agreements, toxic chemicals, air pollution, lack of jobs, surveillance, and noise pollution.
Join together with communities from across North Carolina to lobby your state senator and state representative to protect our communities from the impact of data centers!
Folks will meet throughout the day with their legislators, make it when you can.
⏰12pm- Press conference with community leaders from areas fighting data centers! Location to be determined.
RSVP to let us know you are coming! We will reach out to help you set a meeting with your local legislators or connect you to a meeting already on the books! Make sure to let us know if you can carpool or need a ride to Raleigh.
