🥁 Drumroll please… introducing our FIRST DONOR DROP of 2026! 🥁

We are beyond grateful for this first group of businesses, families, and community members who have jumped in to support Carnivore Crew again this year. Because of their generosity, we’ll be able to show up at the Silver Dollar and Butte County Fair junior livestock auctions ready to back hardworking 4-H, FFA, and Grange youth in the auction ring.

Every donation helps us purchase locally raised animals, support local kids in agriculture, and ultimately provide high-quality meat to families served through the Jesus Center. It’s community supporting community in the very best way. ❤️

One of the most meaningful parts of what we do through Carnivore Crew is seeing the impact continue long after auction day. ❤️🐮🐷

We’ve been looking back through thank you notes from the amazing kiddos whose animals we purchased last year, and they’re such a perfect glimpse into what these auctions are really about. ✉️🥹

Behind every auction animal is a student who spent months putting in early mornings, late nights, hard work, dedication, and heart. Your support helped us to encourage these young exhibitors, invest in the future of agriculture, and provide high-quality meat to families in need right here in our community.

As we gear up for another auction season, we’re working hard to grow our fundraising so we can support even more Butte County youth and purchase even more animals this year.

Things are heating up in Butte County this week (hello 90 degrees! 🌞🌡️🕶️) and also in our Carnivore Crew fundraising efforts!

We’ve officially crossed $12,250 for our bacon and burger buying bank account with 23 generous individuals, businesses, and organizations joining our 2026 crew thus far.

Our goal is to rally 100 donors at $500 each so we are looking for 75 more friends to join us!

🚨 The bacon buying bank account is growing! 🚨

Thanks to our amazing supporters, Carnivore Crew has already raised a whopping $9,950 toward this year’s junior livestock auction purchases at the Silver Dollar Fair and Butte County Fair. 🐖🐄🐐

Our goal is to bring 100 donors in at $500 each so we can show up strong in the auction ring, support hardworking local kids, and purchase animals that will ultimately be processed locally and donated to the Jesus Center.

We’re grateful to share that Carnivore Crew is beginning to receive statewide recognition for the work happening right here in our community 🥓🌾

Our founder, Toni Scott, was recently honored with the Common Threads Award, in part due to her work in establishing the Carnivore Crew. California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross was on hand to present the award and celebrate the work being done through Carnivore Crew and its impact on local youth and families!

And last week, Carnivore Crew was featured in California Farm Bureau Federation's California Bountiful section of Ag Alert, helping share this story across California’s agricultural community.

Something is sizzling and it is more than just the bacon 🥓🥓🥓

Last month we mailed an update to our donors sharing the full story, and we are blown away by what this community has made possible. In 2024 and 2025 the Carnivore Crew:

💥 Raised $82,356 from our generous community members
🍖 Donated 7,146 pounds of locally raised meat to the Jesus Center
🐑 Supported 29 youth exhibitors at the ButteCounty Fair and Silver Dollar Fair Livestock Exhibitors

And now we are firing our fundraising back up for the 2026 fair season.
