HCA had a blast at Lakeside Harmony Weekend! HCA got to work with two incredible coaches -- Johnny Bugarin and Clay Hine. Our coaching sessions were extremely helpful and we can't wait to keep working on our set for International.

On Saturday, HCA listened to some incredible choruses and quartets. Everyone sounded wonderful and we look forward to the next time we can hear these groups!

HCA is the Triangle's championship chorus and the most decorated barbershop chorus in the Carolinas District. Explore more of our page to hear samples of our performances.

In case you missed it (how is that even possible??), GQ became the first female quartet champs at international this past weekend!! 🎉 So in honor of their win we are shining the spotlight on one of our own all-female quartets. Between Verses competed at districts for their first time this past Spring. Fun fact: Their competition performance was only the second time the group had ever performed in front of an audience! This video is their first time! Incredible! Between Verses is composed of Nikki, Sarah, Lindsay and Andi. Here's what the ladies have to say about Between Verses.

While we are on our hiatus this June, we are taking the opportunity to showcase some of our amazing quartets! First up, Personality Dialysis! This quartet performed for their first time ever at our "Barbershop on Broadway" show this Spring. They sang Popular from Wicked. All four members are singers with HCA. HCA picnic during Durham Sing. Singing events are a fantastic time for fellowship! We're lucky to have a tight knit group full of so many friendly folks.

HCA is taking their summer break this June, but we will be back in full swing in July!

Backstage at Barbershop on Broadway! There's nothing like the HCA community. It is so fulfilling to be a part of a supportive and encouraging community. I hope that every member is feeling proud of themselves today for all the hard work and energy they put into making last night's show AMAZING!

It's the music(al) that brings us together!

Ever since our record breaking score at the Carolinas District competition (81.2!) HCA has been hard at work preparing for our Spring show "Barbershop on Broadway"

Come out to support HCA May 16th at the Eno River UU Fellowship at 7pm.
