LGBTQ Center of Durham Creating Visibility. Encouraging Partnerships. Fostering Community. Standing for Justice. Welcome to the LGBTQ Center on Facebook!

We're glad you stopped by, and we certainly hope we'll see you often. We're in the midst of working to bring together LGBTQ people and our allies from Durham and its surrounding communities in the northwestern Research Triangle Region to build a center that reflects who we are, serves all our people, and provides us with a place to just be. Would you like to have a hand in steering us towards our

future? Visit our website to learn how you can join in the excitement: www.lgbtqcenterofdurham.com. Visit our website to learn more about how you can have a hand in steering us into the future. And just simply providing Durham with a "Family Room." We are The LGBTQ Center of Durham.

We stand in solidarity with Durham County’s librarians. Thank you for the work you continue to do to make libraries a vital third space for q***r and trans people in Durham.

Forty years ago, Durham County Libraries helped ignite our city’s Pride movement by allowing community groups to place LGBTQ-affirmative content in library displays. We urge DCo Libraries’ administration to honor this tradition by reinstating Pride displays immediately. It is not too late to do the next right thing.

Rainbow pups!

🩷❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 PRIDE RAFFLE FOR A PURPOSE 🩷❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Ever since the recent Pups and Pride, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I might be able to give back this Pride Month. The dog community has given so much to me through friendships, support, and a place where people can truly be themselves, especially in region 9. I wanted to find a way for Cozy Collie Co to give some of that love back.

So, we’re hosting a Pride Raffle! 🏳️‍🌈😍🌈😍🏳️‍⚧️

Tickets are $20 each

🥇 GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE:
A well cared for and adventure ready…
Millstone Intermediate Double Door Ruffland Kennel!
Including an Intermediate Red Primo Pad and some Pride themed goodies and surprises from local small businesses!

🥈 RUNNER-UP PRIZE:
One handmade Cozy Collie Co “Threads of Pride” Round Flat Pad Bed and also includes some Pride themed goodies and surprises from local small businesses!

Most importantly, at minimum 50% of all raffle proceeds will be donated directly to the LGBTQ Center of Durham to help support the incredible work they do for our local LGBTQ+ community.

‼️ BONUS ENTRY OPPORTUNITY ‼️

LIKE the Cozy Collie Co page, SHARE this post, and COMMENT below:

What would your dog’s Pride name be? 🐶🌈🐾

Extra glitter, dramatic titles, and ridiculous answers are highly encouraged.

The raffle will run from June 3rd through June 24th, with winners drawn on June 25th.

Thank you for supporting my small business, helping me support a cause that means a lot to myself, friends, and family and for helping make our community a little brighter! No matter who you are, who you love, or where you’re from, you deserve a place where you feel loved fully and welcomed without pause.

Good luck to everyone!

To enter, send payment via Venmo or PayPal. QR code in the comments. Please include your name and “CCC Pride Raffle” in the notes. I will be creating a google form to keep track who has entered and the number of entries per individual.

*This raffle is not affiliated with Facebook or Ruffland Kennels.*
