Hello,
Thank you to everyone who came out today to the meet and greet. It was a great turn out and we appreciate everyone for being a part of it!
Tomorrow, Monday, July 14th practice will begin. Practice is from 5:30-7:30 Monday-Thursday. Practice will change the week of August 11th and be held Tuesday-Thursday from 5:30-7:30.
Each coach will meet with players and parents for 10-15 minutes at the start of practice to go over things for this season!
Please make sure all football players and cheerleaders are drinking water and staying hydrated throughout the day. Please ensure your kid has plenty of water at practices. All football players will spend the first week conditioning. Please have them wear athletic shorts and shirts, along with cleats for this first week. Beginning next week all football players will wear practice gear and cleats. Cheerleaders will be wearing athletic shorts and shirts along with cheer shoes.
If you did not turn in a physical today at the meet and greet it will need to be handed in before your kid can participate in any practices. Please remember that it must be stamped by a doctor. The physical form can be found on the Sacramento Youth Football page under forms and medical clearance. We have been told that you can get a sports physical at Enloe Prompt Care for $65.00 and at the Paradise Clinic for $35.00.
If you were unable to make it today, please see a board member at the tables tomorrow before practice to be sized for uniforms and obtain practice gear.
All football players must be paid in full in order for the league to purchase their game day uniforms.
We will have some limited fan gear available for purchase tomorrow before and during practice at the two tables in front of the practice fields. We will be submitting our first order this Friday so please get your orders in and paid for ASAP.
Please use the QR code attached to sign up for volunteer hours. Please remember each family will need 4 volunteer hours or will be charged $300.00 at the end of the season!
