Concerts With Causes is excited to announce the progress in creating a new look, new name, board of directors and purpose. These changes reflect the original mission to help benefit the community through music. While creating music events and education about how music is healing, Wholistic Journeys Inc will provide an opportunity to provide support to those in need of funds to enhance their health utilizing wholistic services.

Hello folks. Indeed it has been a very long time since this page has been active. Life’s journey became in need of my attention and it was necessary for me to focus my time & energy elsewhere.

This link has inspired me to explain more in detail the changes that will be occurring. More information will be shared this summer.

The very concept of the link shared here is the underlining reason I created Concerts With Causes, a music fundraising event non-profit, in 2011. I believed in the healing power of music and felt it would be a wonderful approach to benefiting our community & supporting local musicians.

Fast forward 12 years, realizing I over expended myself, I am in the process of allowing a new group to take the organization in a direction even farther than I could. I am thrilled!! The organization is being named Holistic Journeys. Sound healing & therapy is foundation of the work of these folks. I will still be involved as a consultant and will be doing some fundraising.

Indeed this is news important to share. We were honored to have Hilton on our TV show & join us as a headliner of our Rockin’ the Green event 2017.

Hilton was a gracious guest, a gentleman, and very personable. He shared many stories about his life, and his experience as a member of the Animal’s as well honoring us with a performance.

Though our activities in general have had to be quiet this year, the initiative of our Music With Purpose show at WPAA-TV in Wallingford continues to get stronger with the help of programs in place here to support our community. Huge thanks to Freeman P Quinn, staff & volunteers for allowing us to learn so much & grow while presenting FREE music entertainment in this Wallingford studio.

No doubt a gem of resource many are just now learning about.
