Over 32K of sweet potatoes were distributed Friday & Saturday in Hickory. Thanks to FARMS for the donation, Move For Hunger for donating freight and U-Haul for donating indoor space and equipment, (and Kenny). These potatoes may have been distributed in Catawba County, but many agencies in seven other counties benefitted from this sweet load.

What a beautiful day to rescue over 7,000lbs of radish, turnips, kale, collard greens, and lettuce. We still have yet to get to the spinach, parsley, and “other” secret veggies. 😉 Thankful for our fearless and dedicated volunteers who drove from seven counties to harvest and deliver fresh vegetables to our neighbors in need.
