“TRUE IMAGE” - Hebrew: tzelem elohim, Image of God. [Romans 8:29-30] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the IMAGE OF HIS SON, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bo***ge. (Galatians 5:1)

Time and time again, human nature has proven its intolerance through its attempt(s) to kill what it does not understand or agree with. When a person’s reality is challenged it is met with anger and resistance. I am reminded of the Judas villain in the movie “The Matrix” who sold his soul, his freedom and betrayed those he once called friends just so he could return to the comfortability of a FALSE reality. He had become unplugged, but could not endure the TRUTH of it all. Although this was a fictional movie, it is quite symbolic in so many ways of what is true and real in our world today, especially in the realm of Christendom. When a truth is revealed that not only threatens, but slaughters a sacred religious cow, there will be ignorant consequences, resistance and most likely a fight. Look at the life of Jesus; He was crucified just for introducing truth and a new way of thinking. Look at the life of the Apostles; they too took a lot of heat going against the grain by introducing new concepts, ideas and truth from a different perspective. They were constantly beaten, jailed and unfortunately slaughtered.

Each time I see this scene in the movie, my thoughts are “if you want to live in delusion, then do you boo and return to your place of bo***ge. Why must you destroy others because they do not agree or no longer wish to be held captive? Then I am brought back to reality that bo***ge requires hostages.

Excerpts from my upcoming book entitled "It is Finished"

If being plugged into a system of false realities with religious ideologies and self-imposed, man-made rules and regulations are working for you, then do you!! But extend others the same courtesy of their desire and ability to be free to live unplugged from a broken system of religious, doctrine and old testament laws that Jesus Himself has delivered us from and will never be imposed upon us again.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a message of grace and freedom, not one that is restricted by and to house rules and regulations. Don’t get me wrong, guidelines and boundaries are necessary for governing systems and organizations. However, encroachment happens when those rules and regulations are limiting individual expressions and personal identity. God did not created cookie cutter disciples. He is freely expressed throughout all of creation including mankind. If God is creative enough to allow each individual to have a separate set of fingerprints, he is also creative enough to allow himself to be display through each of us as unique individuals. God is not limited by our understanding, we are. In our efforts to lead others, it is legitimate to let go once the baby eagle learns to fly and allow them to explore their creative individuality.

Abuse = abnormal use. Wings become clipped and broken, creativity diminishes, and "failure to thrive" happens when the student becomes institutionalized. The burden of “following the leader” becomes too constringent for the student to function beyond it' systematic rules and regulation. The earmark of a good mentor/leader is teaching the baby to grow and become self-sufficient beyond the nest. A good leader is never threatened by a student’s capacity to soar beyond that of the teacher.

OBEDIENCE = DECISION (a choice); DISCIPLINE (repetitive action resulting in change); DETERMINATION (a made up mind). I've found this to be an excellent recipe with three nutritious ingredients for SUCCESS.

Today, I am reminded of the story of Moses and the mountain top experience. So many of us want to experience this type of encounter with God, but are often unwilling to do what is necessary to get to the promised purpose. When God called Moses, he did not send a cloud to carry him up the mountain nor did God send an angel to transport him to the top. NO! God spoke and told Moses to come. It was up to Moses at that point. He made the [DECISION] to OBEY. Once he did that, he then had to take the necessary steps [DISCIPLINE] to get to his destination. I'm sure at his age, it was not easy for him to climb that mountain. It's not easy for anyone to climb a mountain at any age, but he had [DETERMINATION] to climb not only once, but TWICE!

I can just imagine Moses stumbling a time or two, probably slipped on a few rocks along the way and may have even sat down and take a few minutes to rest before reaching the top and such is life with us. When God calls us to do something there are times we may slip, stumble, fall and very often, get tired along the way. However, the key is never to give up until you make it to your destination. Moses didn’t give up until he got to where he needed to be. Once he got there, it was then he received from God and came away with the next set of instructions. Keeping in mind those instructions were not just for him, but for a generation of people. What if Moses had decided it was too hard, he was too tired, he was too old or he just didn’t feel like climbing that "dog gone" mountain.

What God calls you to beloved is bigger than you. You're asking God for these things (Godly works) because God has put these things in your heart to do. Yes, it may be overwhelming right now to the point of fear, but feel the fear, free fall into faith and do it anyway. "What if I make a mistake" Provision has already been made, it is called GRACE. "What if it is not what God wants me to do?" He will redirect you. It's called DIVINE INSPIRATION. "What if I fail?" He will pick you up, it's called LOVE. The way has already been made, you simply have to make the DECISION to obey; be DISCIPLINED enough to keep going; and come hell or high water, be DETERMINED enough not to quit.

You determine the level of your success and it begins with one thing "YOUR DECISION". God never promised you it would be easy, but He did promise He would be with you. Looking for the easy way will only cause procrastination. Take heart and know you will not perish in your pursuit. Your next step may even require re-evaluating what you consider success to be. Success is not found in the amount of stuff and things you have. Success is determined by the impact sitting at the end of ongoing completions.

Abundant blessings !!!

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? (Romans 6:1-2)

Grace is not an endorsement for sin. If we love God as much as we proclaim we do, should we, WOULD we continue in SIN, especially when we KNOW it’s wrong? Yet, we do it anyway; attempt to make sacrifices for it and then use the love God has for mankind as an excuse to continue. Heaven FORBID!!! YES…God knows your heart! YES…God knew you would do it before you did it. YES…God knows you’re not perfect and we’re all a work in progress. These are ALL very true statements, yet purposely used as excuses to justify willful and unrighteous behavior.

The life you live speaks much louder than the words from your mouth. So, what is your life saying to people? Is it telling them it’s okay to live contrary to the Word of God because all is forgiven, or is it showing others how to LOVE and draw close to God BECAUSE of His forgiveness? Is your life’s language teaching people to seek God as a result of His goodness or simply to get next to Him for His goodies? If you are proclaiming to be His child [one who follows and has chosen to live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ] then you are agreeing to be His ambassador and living epistle. If this is indeed the case….I urgently appeal to you, therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present yourselves a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed [changed in your thinking] by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove [by the way you live] what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Abundant blessing family!

"You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3). An idol is anything exalted above God. When you look at yourself and see anything other than what God has made you to be, or who the Bible says you are, you have accepted and are believing a lie, which has now become an idol. A lie creates a distorted (FALSE) image or false reality and your mind accepts it, thereby keeping you barren; fruitless; unproductive, and/or giving birth to truth. Beloved, you are made in the Image of Christ, and in Christ there is no failure, there is no fear, condemnation, ugliness, rejection, etc. It is high time for the idols [LIES] to be displaced. You are free to be…, so conceive it, believe it and walk therein. Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. John 8:36 (NLT)

There are times in life we are blind sided, but God is not. Nothing catches Him by surprise. If you want clarity of vision into the blind spots, simply ask God; but be prepared for His TRUTH and the shift in your thinking that will be required to transition you into the reality of that truth. God’s TRUTH exposes false images & false realities, so that the True Image of Christ may be made manifest in & thru your life.

When we look into the mirror of OUR own lives, what do we see looking back at us? Is it love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control? If not, we must.. [feast, take delight in] ..pursue God with fervency; increasing our desire for HIM and permitting His word to pe*****te our hearts and cleanse every area that is keeping us from reflecting a clear image of Jesus Christ.
