Meet our Summit Institute Team!
Mike serves to disciple & develop future ministry leaders. He has been at Summit for 7 years but has been involved in ministry for 52 years. He loves reproducing - reproducers for Christ.
Kelsey has been on staff at The Summit for 7 years & in ministry for 20 years. She is passionate about helping people know God & live out the gospel in their everyday lives. As a part of The Summit Institute, she is grateful to witness students grow in confidence & leadership as they deepen their dependence on Christ.
Leigh has been working in ministry for 5 years, with 3 of those being on The Summit Institute staff team. She loves getting to go on walks & share meals with students and mentors & see how God is working in their lives! She still can’t believe this is her job!
Donny has served as the Associate Campus Director of Sending for the BCC as well as on the Summit Institute staff team. He has a heart for people & a passion for mobilizing the church to live on mission. He has been serving in various ministry roles since the age of 18 including both our Summit Apprenticeship and Residency. He loves serving the Summit Church & being a part of our movement of creating disciple making disciples here in RDU & around the world!
Noah has had the privilege of being an Institute student for 2 years & then working on the team for another 2 years. One of the biggest benefits to that is that he is able to be a resource for students from the perspective of a student & say, “I’ve been there before.” Getting to help students process what they’re learning while stirring their affections for Christ at the same time is the sweet spot for him in ministry!
Katie is a daughter of the King, a second year Summit Institute resident, & has a heart for living out—& helping others live out—our call to make disciples of all nations. This is her 3rd year working in ministry. By God’s grace, she hopes to do ministry for the rest of her life! Wherever He sends her, she hopes to keep sharing the gospel with those who have little-to-no access, caring for the marginalized, encouraging her brothers & sisters in Christ, & cultivating relational depth.
