We’ve had a few folks asking — and yes, we’ll be open regular hours this Saturday morning.

At 11 AM, we’ll be switching to a special, condensed menu (think festival-style) as we gear up for the Bake & Rebuild Bash.

This Saturday 7/19 is all about gathering with our community — and we can’t wait to see you.

Come on out to Lakewood Elementary on *Saturday, April 26, from 2:30-5:00pm* for the fourth annual Bulldog Block Party & Wellness Fair! This free event is open to the community and includes:

- Free food: Q-Shack, Golden Pizza, Kup of Kool, and more
- Fun for kids including a bounce house, face painting and art by
Courtney Potter, crafting from the Scrap Exchange, playing movers with boxes on a truck with Two Men & A Truck, STEM activities, chalk, bubbles, games, and more!
- A fire truck visit by our local fire department
- Music presented by the Huron Stage Music Venue
- Health and wellness resources and activities
- A raffle where you can win cool stuff!

Bring your friends, neighbors, and family! We hope to see you there!

Join us at Lakewood Shopping Center Oct 1 5.30 to 7 pm. We have burgers and hotdogs. You bring side or dessert to make our neighborhood meal complete. Kids activities and a fire truck!

Join us for a celebration of sustainable transit in the heart of Durham. See registration for full details and schedule. Move-A-Bull City will feature the following activities:
- Help create our pop-up protected bike lane on Foster St
- Walking Tour of sections of the Proposed Durham Rail Trail
- ‘Heavy Hauler’ fully-loaded e-cargo bike test rides
- World's Slowest Bike obstacle course competition
- Kids' Zone with activities from PBS Kids and Bull City Woodworking
- Bike tune-ups from Durham Bike Co-op’s mobile clinic, Bumble
- Event closes with ~10 mile group bike ride ending at Remy's at Five Points
- And lots more!

We will also be holding a "Stuff-the-Bus" non-perishable food donation drive to benefit the Emanuel Food Pantry. You can bring items to the event, drop them off in advance at ReCity (112 Broadway Street), or make a monetary donation (https://actionnetwork.org/fundraising/stuff-the-bus-for-the-emanuel-food-pantry?source=fb). Preferred items to donate:

- Canned Tuna
- Canned Chicken
- Cereals
- Pasta
- Canned Tomatoes
- Canned Vegetables

In order for Durham to be a community where everyone can thrive and get around by walking, biking, and transit, then we need Durham to be a place where everyone can afford to live.
